Birds and reptiles of the Caucasus's rocky semi-deserts: what's not to love? On rocky slopes and in arid valleys we'll watch falcons, wallcreepers and rollers, and while long-legged buzzards and vultures watch us from the canyons, we'll be looking for lizards and snakes.

The Göksu Delta is a birdwatcher's paradise. At this time of year we'll search the coastal lakes and marshes for rare marbled teal and try to spot a purple swamphen. While flamingos and glossy ibises fill the shallow lagoons, the gardens and olive groves around our base will be full of colourful bee-eaters, and the fences will be lined with several species of shrike.

This trip has definitely taken an important place in my heart. Such a concentration of nature impressions, wonderful people, inspiration! Everyone was simply thrilled like children at the sight of any bird: from a huge gannet to a tiny zitting cisticola. A unique chance to completely switch off from outside noise and spend hours watching and listening, paying no attention to time. It doesn't matter whether you're an experienced birdwatcher or a beginner: they'll tell you scientific details and funny stories about birds, plants and animals with great attention. I advise you not to think for longer than 20 seconds and to grab the chance to see the world!

This trip was simply a shot of happiness! Wonderful people, super organisation and choice of locations, and the food was top-notch too 🤌 It was thrilling to see seabirds up close, meet the longed-for gannets and fall in love with new birds! I already want to go on another trip 🧡

I remember every moment with such warmth — those incredible animals, our laughter, all our funny moments and that atmosphere that only exists in a truly close-knit group. You made these days special, warm and unforgettable. Big hug!

The trip was fantastic! I really like that you (and the birds) attract and bring together such different and such good people. Such an island of calm in a crazy world.

I'm blubbing at how good it was — I've already talked everyone's ears off, family and colleagues alike, and my brain just won't go back to cold reality.

One of the best trips of the year! I liked the programme, the place and the other participants. The organisers are a separate love — very attentive and warm-hearted. There was an absolute sense of family and support the whole time. And of course we saw lots of interesting bird species, though are there any uninteresting ones?) And not only birds! Lizards, spiders and scorpions too) Altogether, absolute delight! Waiting for the next announcements)

The variety of habitats was incredible! It was so cool to visit a dry lake and a wet one, reed beds, a forest, a mountain, the sea and a town...
Everything on the trip was the best: the birds, the lectures, the company, Greece and you, dear organisers. The only downside is that I can't repeat it right away!

This was my first birdwatching trip. Even though I didn't know anyone beforehand, our shared interest in birds and nature quickly brought us together. It was lovely to look at exotic plants together, discuss the claws of meadow pipits, hold a newt in my hands and get lost in the variety of gulls)

An incredible abundance of unforgettable impressions with the most wonderful company!!!! The love, attention, trepidation and care with which the Northern Fulmar team approaches organising the expedition and the accommodation and creating a magical atmosphere is impossible to put into words. Every single day I walked around with a smile from ear to ear and my mouth open in delight. Throughout the trip I was wrapped in a halo of acceptance, kindness and positivity, so it was not only interesting and fun but also super comfortable. I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend that everyone dive into a vivid, truly curious journey into the world of birdwatching and herping with specialists who know their craft 🐦‍⬛🦎

A cool trip and a great chance to switch from screens to nature, and in such a warm company too! I saw lots of new little birds, added a couple of birds to my list that I learned to recognise, and all of this at a pleasant pace and in the company of like-minded people. Now I'm thinking about when and where to go next!
